About
"Find A Way" began as a rallying cry for the Xavier University Men's Basketball team, coined by avid sports fan and XU alum JP Drier. At 23, JP was beginning his life in the working world, but that didn't stop him from taking every possible opportunity to spend time with his friends, especially if that meant traveling the country to follow their team. That July, JP passed away suddenly from complications due to his Type 1 Diabetes. JP was so much to so many people - a brother, son, cousin, grandson, and nephew - but perhaps his biggest legacy is in who he was as a friend. From early childhood through post-grad, JP continued to make long-lasting relationships everywhere he went. He was someone you could always count on in hard times, and it is in this spirit that Find A Way has grown to become so much more than the sports motto it began as. For all who know and love JP, "Find A Way" is a reminder to keep going; that no matter how daunting the path ahead might seem, there is a way through.

Life with diabetes is full of finding a way. From monitoring blood sugar levels and managing insulin dosages to dealing with the mental toll chronic illness takes on you, living with diabetes means constantly finding a way through obstacles that are mostly invisible to those around you. In honor of JP and all those navigating the challenges of diabetes, let "Find A Way" serve as a beacon of hope and resilience, reminding us that even the toughest battles can be overcome with determination and support.

Mission
Find A Way empowers individuals affected by Type 1 Diabetes and other life-threatening diseases while supporting students who have overcome significant challenges. We are dedicated to raising awareness, improving lives, and preventing deaths through advocacy, innovation, and education. Our approach is guided by four core commitments:
1. Partnering with government agencies and retail pharmacies to eliminate delays in accessing life-saving medications.
2. Empowering individuals with Type 1 Diabetes to share their experiences and advocate for their needs.
3. Funding innovative research to advance cures for Type 1 Diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.
4. Providing scholarships to students who have demonstrated resilience in overcoming significant life obstacles.
Vision
Find A Way's vision is a world without Type 1 Diabetes, but we aren't willing to wait until then to make a difference. While we fight for a cure, we are also fighting to make life better for those living with Type 1 Diabetes.
